Holiday wishes from jak and her boyz!

Ah snow! Being home in NB with the snow the sunshine and the knitting makes me happy in my heart!

And the hearts of my boyz...

I managed to get promised knitting completed along with a couple of surprises of felt mits for the girls from TO. One needs a good pair of mits for the fluffy white stuff of NB. We got 10 cms last night with promises of more to come from the Weather Network - yeah! Santa brought us new sleds we plan to put to good use over the next few days!

Only photo of holiday knitting is Socks for my FIL.
Pattern:
Fibre: Cascade 220
Color: Dark Green (Tweed)

A couple of pics of projects as promised in last post. Camera is up and working again.

Pattern: Tyrolean Stockings, Fall Interweave '07
Fibre: Vermont Organic, Cotton/Wool blend
Color: Storm

Pictures of Prayer Shawl, as promised. Had to post 3 pics., cause it's lovely.
Pattern: Alix's Prayer Shawl
Fibre: Socks that Rock
Color: In the Navy

PS I received the most wonderful wool blanket from Mr. jak (at the suggestion of my FIL - my #1 Enabler). It's made from local NB sheep (who I'm going to visit on the 30th!), and was carded, cleaned and woven in one of my favorite 'farms' Mac Auslan's Woolen Mills in Bloomfield, PE. I am a lucky, lucky girl with a beautful blankie...

Happy Holidays, J!

It looks like you're having fun at home. We got some snow yesterday, but then it rained - harumph. How rude!

Looking at your snow filled photos, I'm feeling a little NB homesickness right now. Maybe next year...

All your knitting is lovely - what a beautiful shawl!
